About the Farm
Background
Founded in 2002, the farm has become New England’s trusted source for ethically-raised, pastured meat and eggs. Known for its commitment to animal welfare and transparency, it offers local pickup and farm-to-door delivery across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Practices
The farm allows livestock to express their natural instincts fully in a pasture environment. Pigs root, run, and play; chickens peck, scratch, and crow; turkeys gobble and strut; and cows eat grass outside, not corn in confinement. Animals are fed a natural pasture-based diet, supplemented with certified Non-GMO grain, whole bean grain with corn and roasted soy, and seasonal items like pumpkins. Pigs are never given post-consumer food such as bakery waste.
The Rest
Customers can order online for home delivery or pick up at the farm or farmers’ markets. The farm store in East Greenwich, RI, is open Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday from 9am-1pm. Orders ship out weekly with a $200 minimum for free shipping, and delivery is 100% contactless. The farm does not use third-party delivery companies, ensuring a personal touch in every order.
