About the Farm
Background
Originally homesteaded by Pete Peterson in the late 1800s, the farm saw Conrad Peterson build an egg ranch in 1905. Purchased by the Juricich family in 1949, it is now owned by their daughter Nikki and her husband Allen Johanson. For the past 64 years, it has relied on direct marketing to deliver fresh products to local consumers.
Practices
The farm spans 14 acres where a variety of vegetables and pumpkins are cultivated. Emphasis is placed on direct marketing to ensure fresh produce reaches local consumers.
The Rest
Located 2 miles north of the Kitsap Mall in Silverdale, WA, the farm is open to the public by appointment. It hosts special entertainment events in the summer and fall seasons and offers farm tours.
