Plum River Farm

Located in the driftless region of northwest Illinois, the farm spans 242 acres and has committed itself to raising Hereford and Red Angus cattle on a diet of grass and hay grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. The farm adheres to rigorous standards set by the Animal Welfare Approved and American Grassfed Association, ensuring that cattle spend as much time on pasture as weather permits and have constant access to fresh water from spring-fed streams and rivers. The animals are processed humanely at a nearby USDA certified facility.
