About the Farm

Background

Pocahontas Produce operates as a roadside farm stand, providing a variety of fresh, seasonal produce to the community. The farm stand has become a local staple, known for its honor system where customers weigh and pay for their produce.

Practices

The farm grows a variety of fruits and vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, peas, beans, okra, and peppers. They also maintain beehives to produce fresh raw honey, available in different container sizes. Future plans include expanding their offerings with vegetable plants grown in their greenhouse and extended season tomatoes and salad greens from their hoop house.

The Rest

Visitors can enjoy U-Pick blueberries and blackberries at $15.00 per gallon or purchase fresh-picked berries at $5.00 per quart. The farm stand is stocked daily with fresh produce during the season.
