About the Farm
Background
Located on the eastern edge of the North Carolina Piedmont, just 15 miles north of Oxford, the farm has garnered a reputation for its high-quality poultry, pork, and vegetables. Heritage Breed turkeys have been particularly popular, attracting customers from far distances.
Practices
The farm raises poultry for meat and eggs on pasture, ensuring humane treatment and high-quality produce. Pasture-raised broilers are available from early summer to fall, and the farm's pork products, including chops, loins, sausage, ribs, liver, and bratwurst, are also pasture-raised. The farm grows a variety of vegetables such as paste tomatoes, beans, zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, cucumbers, and several varieties of potatoes, all without the use of chemicals.
The Rest
The taste and quality of the farm's chicken and pork have received constant compliments, with one customer even driving 125 miles for their turkey.
