About the Farm
Background
When Jim and Karina Knight purchased the land, they aimed to create a gathering place for wellness, community, and sharing bounty. The Polestar name has been used in their family for decades, symbolizing a sense of certainty and direction akin to the North Star.
Practices
Nestled in the Capay region of Northern California, the farm spans 12 acres and is dedicated to organic farming practices. The family tends to Royal Blenheim apricots, Elegant Lady peaches, and a variety of other fruits, emphasizing the importance of nourishment and community in their labor of growing.
The Rest
Polestar Farm hosts a variety of events including dinners, concerts, workshops, and private gatherings such as weddings and birthday parties from April to October, weather permitting.
