Present Tense Farm

Established in 2013, this farm is located in the Snoqualmie River Valley, about 25 miles outside Seattle, Washington. It operates on leased land and is owned and operated by Neil Subhash and Jayme Haselow. Known for its diversified vegetable production, the farm has become a staple in the local agricultural scene, supplying produce to some of Seattle's best chef-driven restaurants and neighborhood farmers markets.

The farm employs environmentally sound practices, focusing on farming in conjunction with nature. Soil health is maintained through thoughtful tillage, incorporation of organic matter, and smart crop rotations. Seed varieties are chosen for their flavor, quality, and resilience in the Pacific Northwest climate. The farm offers a wide range of vegetables year-round, from eggplant to heirloom zucchini and savoy cabbage to winter squash. Their produce can be found at the Magnolia and West Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets, as well as on the plates of locally-owned restaurants in Seattle. The owners' passion for cooking, creating, eating, growing, learning, and feeding others drives their motivation to farm.
