About the Farm
Background
Located in Othello, Washington, in the heart of the Columbia Basin, this dairy is one of the few in the United States that exclusively feeds its jersey cows grass. The herd has been carefully selected to be free of A1 positive cows, and the dairy has committed to being antibiotic and hormone-free.
Practices
The dairy's jersey cows are entirely grass-fed, ensuring that the milk is both tasty and nutritious. The farm avoids chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides, and employs vat pasteurization without homogenization to maintain the milk's natural qualities. Transparency is a key value, allowing consumers to know exactly where their milk comes from and how the animals are treated.
The Rest
The dairy offers a range of products including pasteurized whole, 2%, and skim milk, heavy cream, and raw milk at select locations. Visitors are encouraged to see the farm firsthand to understand the operation and the care given to the animals.
