About the Farm
Background
Raising Icelandic lambs since 2005 and pastured pork since 2014, the farm has become known for its gourmet Icelandic lamb available by the half or whole each fall, and its registered polled Icelandic sheep for breeding stock and fiber pets. The farm also offers raw fleeces, rovings, and lopi-style yarns.
Practices
Animals are raised with their health and happiness in mind, ensuring a humane and nurturing environment.
The Rest
Cuts of lamb and pork are available at Green Gardens Community Farm in rural Battle Creek, Michigan. Pork is available by advance reservation only, taking 6-12 months to get on the schedule. Farm visitors are welcome by appointment.
