Rainbow Meadow Farms

Established in 1746, this farm has been in the family for eight generations, producing healthy food products for the people of eastern North Carolina. Over the centuries, it has become known for its commitment to quality and ecological stewardship.

The farm employs Multi-Species Management Intensive Rotational Grazing, avoiding the use of hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. They follow the Five Freedoms of Animal Husbandry, ensuring high animal welfare standards. The livestock's diet includes a significant portion of grass, herbs, and insects, contributing to the superior taste and nutritional profile of their products. The farm also integrates probiotics, herbs, and natural plant extracts into animal feeds to bolster immune systems without pharmaceuticals.

The farm offers a variety of products, including Dorper lamb, free-range chicken, pastured pork, free-range eggs, and seasonal meats like turkey, guinea, quail, duck, and rabbit. They provide whole carcasses, individual cuts, and value-added products such as gourmet sausages. All products are slaughtered under USDA inspection, vacuum packaged, and available for shipping.
