Randol Honey Farm

Since 2001, the business has grown from a small operation with three hives to a thriving enterprise with over 40 hives by 2010. The journey began when Pat took a beekeeping class to restart hives brought home by her son. Despite initial setbacks, the fascination with bees led to rapid expansion and the development of a diverse product line. The business started selling at the local farmers market in Winterset and has since expanded to include internet sales, local farmers markets, and craft shows in the Des Moines area.

All products are produced in a state-inspected licensed kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The farm raises Purebred Nubian Dairy Goats and occasionally offers them for sale. The commitment to quality is evident in the meticulous care given to the bees and the production process, which includes raw strained honey, gourmet flavored liquid and creamed honeys, and some comb honey.

In addition to honey products, the business offers beeswax lotion bars, lip balm, goat milk and honey soaps, gourmet beer bread mixes, cheesecake mixes, and wine mixes. The farm emphasizes friendly, dedicated service and operates with a mission to serve God and let Him direct their path. They do not ship outside the United States.
