About the Farm
Background
The farm has been the Roach family's home since 2014, driven by a love for the outdoors, the environment, and heritage. Although fairly new to farming, the family is dedicated to farmland preservation and sustainability, working together to create a legacy for future generations.
Practices
The farm raises grass-fed and grass-finished beef, as well as pasture-raised and non-GMO grain-fed pork, chicken, and turkey. All animals are raised without growth hormones, antibiotics, steroids, vaccines, or chemical de-wormers. Instead, they are given access to grassy fields, minerals, and plenty of sunshine. The meats are processed by USDA or Indiana State Inspected butchers.
The Rest
The farm is certified by Homegrown by Heroes and Indiana Grown. They sell directly from the farm by appointment, offer delivery within 25 miles for a small fee, and frequently set up at the Farmers Market of Madison, IN. Seasonal produce and chicken eggs are also available. Customers can check the website for a current listing of available cuts and follow the farm on Facebook.
