About the Farm

Background

The journey began in 2016 when the founders, motivated by personal health crises and a desire for change, purchased 4 acres in Godley, TX to raise quality food for themselves and their community. The farm later expanded to an 11-acre property in Sunset, TX, where they currently raise IPP pigs, sheep, ducks, and chickens. The inspiration for farming traces back to childhood visits to family farms in Puerto Rico, where the founder's grandmother taught him the basics of animal care.

Practices

The farm operates without the use of any chemicals on the property or in the feed. All animals are fed a non-GMO and soy-free diet, with feed milled locally in Texas. The animals enjoy access to green pastures, sunlight, and fresh air. The philosophy extends to a 'beyond organic' approach, emphasizing humane and responsible animal husbandry with plenty of fresh water, sunshine, and natural foraging opportunities.

The Rest

The farm's guardians include three livestock guardian dogs (LGDs) and one in training, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals. Testimonials from customers highlight the farm's dedication to quality and customer service. The founder's transition from a sales career to farming underscores a deep passion for self-sufficiency and healthy living.
