About the Farm
Background
Since 2006, the farm has been certified organic by Vermont Organic Farmers (VOF). Located along the Connecticut River, it has become known for its diverse vegetable offerings and commitment to organic farming. The farm's produce is sold through local farmers markets, CSA memberships, local restaurants, and small local grocers.
Practices
The farm employs a holistic approach to soil fertility, pest control, and plant and animal health. Soil is enriched through crop rotation, cover cropping, and minimal tillage. These practices ensure the health of the soil and the quality of the produce.
The Rest
The farm offers customizable CSA boxes delivered weekly to twelve locations around the Upper Valley, featuring a variety of organic vegetables and local products like milk, cheese, meat, fruit, and eggs. They also produce sauerkraut from their large white cabbage variety. The farm is hiring for various positions for the upcoming season and encourages applications from both new and experienced farmers.
