Scarecrow Farm

Located in Upper Hollowville, Hudson, New York, this family farm has been operated by four generations. Known for its diverse offerings, the farm has become a staple in the community, providing fresh produce, honey, eggs, and crafts. The farmstand operates from May 1 through December 24, and they participate in multiple farmers' markets.

The farm adheres to organic and sustainable farming methods, avoiding harmful pesticides and chemicals. They use non-GMO and organic seeds whenever possible. Their commitment to the land is evident through their Certified Naturally Grown status and their signing of the NOFA-NY Farmers Pledge. The use of a high tunnel helps extend the vegetable growing season.

Major credit cards, FMNP, and EBT/SNAP are accepted at the farmstand. Eggs are available year-round in a self-service cooler, and yarn orders can be arranged by appointment. The farm also offers pre-order options for eggs, honey, yarn, and seasonal vegetables, with convenient pickup arrangements. They are active at the Hudson Farmer's Market, Delaware Ave. Neighborhood Association market, and the Hudson indoor market.
