About the Farm
Background
The main home, built in 1832, has been restored to maintain its original features and is situated on five acres. The farm has recently expanded by an additional 48 acres to accommodate a growing herd. The family became interested in alpacas through local newspaper articles and embraced the alpaca lifestyle.
Practices
Committed to raising healthy, vibrant, and content alpacas, the farm's herd mainly consists of Suri alpacas from top bloodlines. Recently, they have been breeding for Huacaya to diversify the herd. The farm emphasizes hands-on care and management to ensure the well-being of their animals.
The Rest
The farm is a family-run business with members handling various aspects, from farm management to fiber production and photography. They are open for farm visits by appointment and proudly support community events and organizations such as The Wounded Warrior Project and National Wreaths Across America Day.
