About the Farm
Background
Located in the heart of Oregon's wine country, this small family farm has become known for providing some of the finest meat products in and around Portland. The farm has established a reputation for its high-quality, pasture-raised poultry and heritage pork.
Practices
The farm's free range poultry are raised on pasture from the day they hatch and are supplemented with an organic, soy-free, corn-free, GMO-free feed. The heritage hogs, specifically the American Mulefoot Hog, are also pasture-raised and supplemented with fruits and vegetables sourced weekly from local produce distributors. Additionally, the farm raises St Croix heritage lambs, known for their lean and mellow meat, with finished weights averaging about 35 pounds.
The Rest
The farm supports the local community through a donation program, contributing a minimum of 5% of its profits to help hungry families via both cash and food donations.
