About the Farm
Background
What first began in 1978 as a u-pick raspberry farm has evolved into a 30-acre family farm. Initially focused on raspberries, the farm now offers over 10 varieties of cane berries, including red raspberry, golden raspberry, Marionberry, and several types of blackberries such as boysenberry, loganberry, and tayberries. Additionally, the farm boasts a 5-acre apple orchard with over 20 varieties of antique and modern apples.
Practices
The farm employs 'No Spray' methods for their strawberries, ensuring that the produce is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides. This approach reflects a commitment to providing fresh, high-quality produce while maintaining ecological balance.
The Rest
The farm market is a destination featuring seasonal fresh berries, produce, flowers, gifts, and more. Visitors can also enjoy cider tastings of estate-grown hard ciders and participate in u-pick activities. The farm operates with seasonal hours, being open from Wednesday to Sunday.
