About the Farm
Background
Located in the northern Willamette Valley, the farm has been certified organic for nine years and is known for growing a wide variety of produce almost year-round using high tunnels. The farm is celebrated for its high-quality food and has become a staple at local markets, often selling out of its fresh products.
Practices
The farm employs sustainable and regenerative farming techniques to restore and improve soil health. Livestock, including fowl, cows, pigs, and sheep, are raised in small family groups across diverse landscapes of pasture, forest, and wetland. Laying chickens and ducks roam freely, roost in trees, and swim in ponds, and are fed a diet free of corn, soy, and GMOs. Meat birds are also pasture-raised and fed a similar diet, resulting in naturally lean and tender poultry.
The Rest
Visitors can explore the farm store, open from April through October, offering fresh produce, jams, pickles, snacks, and espresso drinks. The farm also offers a serene getaway experience, located just an hour from Portland in Yamhill wine country, where guests can enjoy nature walks and interact with the farm animals.
