About the Farm
Background
Chris Roehm and Amy Benson have been cultivating certified organic fruits and vegetables on their 40-acre farm in Forest Grove, just under 30 miles from Portland, OR. Their produce has become a staple at the Portland Farmers Market, where it is sold every Saturday from May through December, and is also supplied to chefs throughout the year.
Practices
Certified organic by Oregon Tilth, the farm employs farming methods that exclude the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides. This commitment to organic practices ensures that the land is treated with care and respect, fostering a healthy ecosystem.
