About the Farm

Background

Founded in 2015, the farm has cultivated nearly two acres of land, offering a wide variety of vegetable crops, a berry patch, annual flowers, and a small greenhouse. Celebrating its 10th year in 2024, the farm has become a local staple, known for its fresh, certified naturally grown produce and community events.

Practices

The farm employs all-natural practices, avoiding chemical pesticides and herbicides. Soil fertility is enhanced through composting, cover crops, and the use of chicken manure. Committed to 'no-till' farming, the farm avoids traditional plowing to maintain soil structure and reduce fossil fuel dependence. They adhere to NOFA guidelines for organic practices.

The Rest

The farm shop offers a variety of locally produced goods including cheese, raw milk, teas, baked goods, and crafts. Seasonal offerings include handmade wreaths, Christmas trees, and holiday decorations. Visitors can enjoy a pollinator garden, a beehive, and a 'u-pick' herb and flower garden. The farm also hosts special events and provides a welcoming environment with friendly animals and an honor system for payments.
