About the Farm
Background
Since 1999, this family business has been known for producing premier honey using organic hive management. The business is run by Glenn, Stasia, the Three Sisters - Anastasia, Nadia, and Kyra, and the son-in-laws - Roderick and Malcolm.
Practices
The honey is collected by bees from wildflowers and trees, ensuring a light flavor that is neither heat-treated nor adulterated. The farm follows Certified Naturally Grown standards, which means organic management of their hives and crops.
The Rest
In addition to honey, the farm produces handcrafted goats milk soaps, lip balms, hand creams, and 100% beeswax candles. Their products are made with natural ingredients like essential oils, shea butter, and various vegetable oils. They market their products locally, through Whole Foods Markets in Connecticut, and via mail order. Curbside pickup is available, and their products can also be found at several retail partners.
