Tune Farm

Alabama's first certified organic farm, privately owned by the Tune Family, has been a faithful steward of 260 acres of rolling pastures, forests, creek, and wetland for over fifty years. Rich in history and natural beauty, the farm features a century-old pecan grove, an eighty-year-old authentic post-and-beam barn, and a circa 1919 Craftsman farmhouse. The farm has transitioned to focus on mentoring and incubating new farmers through a USDA-funded program in collaboration with Alabama A&M.

The farm emphasizes sustainable, organic farming practices, providing hands-on experience and farmer-to-farmer training to new and beginning farmers. The land is treated with care to maintain its fertility and ecological balance, ensuring that the soil remains productive and healthy for future generations.

Tune Farm also serves as a picturesque venue for weddings and events, offering a rustic, historic setting with modern amenities. The Event Barn and surrounding estate provide a charming backdrop for ceremonies and receptions, with packages that can be customized to fit various needs. Conveniently located near major highways, the farm is easily accessible for guests.
