About the Farm
Background
Located in the small farming community of Firth, Idaho, this farm spans 3 acres on a homestead established in 1939. Surrounded by 80 acres of family-farmed hay and wheat fields, it has grown into a local staple for fresh produce and sustainable living resources.
Practices
The farm plants organic seeds and uses only locally purchased organic soils, adhering to pesticide-free practices. A significant portion of the garden thrives in organic soil within a wind tunnel greenhouse, ensuring optimal growing conditions for their diverse vegetable offerings.
The Rest
In addition to vegetables, the farm provides free-range chicken eggs, vegan breads, sustainable cleaning products, and wildflower seed bombs. They also offer heirloom seeds and share cooking, preserving, and gardening tips, including a free cookbook and seasonal eating advice.
