About the Farm
Background
Wild Hill Farm has become a cherished part of the Bloomfield community, known for its commitment to providing fresh, locally-grown produce. Members of the CSA enjoy not only the bounty of over 30 different varieties of vegetables but also a sense of belonging to a healthy local community. The farm has garnered praise for its beautiful, clean produce and the welcoming atmosphere it fosters through events like farm tours and barn dances.
Practices
The farm employs ecological practices, eschewing chemicals and pesticides in favor of methods that nurture the land and produce. This approach ensures that the produce is not only fresh but also grown in a way that respects the environment. The farm's dedication to these practices is evident in the quality and taste of the vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs it offers.
The Rest
CSA members have the added benefit of access to a U-Pick garden, where they can harvest flowers, fresh herbs, cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, beans, and more. This garden is open seven days a week, providing a unique and joyful experience for members. The farm offers Full Shares and Half Shares, with pick-up available on Monday or Thursday evenings.
