About the Farm
Background
Founded by the Goertz family in 2004, the business has roots dating back to 1910 when the family began raising cattle and wheat in Wheatland, Wyoming. Over the years, they have become known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, providing beef that consumers can trust.
Practices
The ranch employs eco-friendly practices to promote biodiversity and a healthy environment. Rotational grazing is used to maintain grass for livestock and enhance wildlife habitats. Cover crops are planted to increase soil health and provide forage for cattle. The farm raises certified organic wheat, oats, barley, millet, and hay. Cattle are born and raised on pasture land, finished on grain for superior marbling and taste, and never given synthetic hormones or antibiotics. The beef is processed at a USDA-inspected facility and dry-aged for 21 days.
The Rest
Customers can purchase beef online, with the meat being vacuum-sealed and shipped frozen. The business prides itself on exceptional customer service and high-quality, flavorful beef. Reviews highlight the tenderness and taste of the beef, as well as the reliable and fast shipping.
