About the Farm

Background

Yellowstone Grassfed Beef emerged from a collaboration between two historic Montana ranches, The J-L Ranch in the Jefferson and Centennial valleys, and Two Dot Land and Livestock south of Harlowton. These ranches have a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality beef.

Practices

The ranches employ a combination of old-fashioned techniques and forward-thinking modern practices to ensure the highest quality beef. They prioritize the long-term health of the land over short-term profit and do not harvest cattle until the quality is at its peak, which is typically later than other grass-fed operations.

The Rest

They offer direct-to-consumer sales of individual cuts as well as whole, half, and quarter animals, ensuring that customers have access to exceptional quality, safe, and delicious beef born, raised, and processed in Montana.
