Burlington Winter Farmers' Market

The Burlington Winter Farmers Market is making its debut on November 22 at Memorial Auditorium, providing a new venue for local farmers and artisans to sell their goods during the colder months. The market will continue to operate on the third Saturday of each month from December through April.

Farmers participating in the market have been storing crops such as carrots, beets, potatoes, squash, onions, and garlic for sale. Additionally, some produce like corn, tomatoes, and strawberries are being frozen to ensure a diverse selection throughout the winter season.

The market features live music and food vendors offering warm dishes such as soup, tamales, and samosas. It's an excellent opportunity for early holiday shopping with a variety of hand-made, artisan crafts available. The event is supported by City Market/Onion River Co-op, Seven Days, and the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont.
