Community Servings

Beginning on June 15, 2011, Community Servings has hosted a Farmers' Market in the parking lot of their building every Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm. The market features a variety of local vendors, including Millbrook Farm, Silverbrook Farm, and Stillman Farm, as well as other local businesses like Blue Frog Bakery and Caramel Eyes candy.

The market emphasizes the importance of local agriculture by providing a platform for farmers and producers to sell their goods directly to the community. This approach supports local economies and reduces the carbon footprint associated with long-distance food transportation.

The market accepts SNAP, EBT, WIC, and Senior Coupons, making fresh, local food accessible to a wider audience. The USDA supports the market's Nutrition Outreach efforts, providing money and coupons for cooking class attendees. Summertime participants in these programs receive Farmers Market Coupons to spend on local foods.
