About the Farm
Background
Steve and Lisa, who grew up on opposite coasts, met in the middle and bought the Graham Ranch in 2006. With backgrounds in agribusiness, range management, animal science, and forage management, they brought their expertise to the ranch. Their children, Will and Abby, also help on the ranch, making it a family endeavor. The ranch is more than a business; it is a way of life that builds integrity and a deep connection to the land and livestock.
Practices
The ranch focuses on raising grass-fed beef and lamb without added hormones or antibiotics. The land is managed to maintain its native prairie state, similar to what Lewis and Clark would have seen. The ranch prioritizes healthy land, water, and air, and believes in the interconnectedness of livestock and wildlife health. They shear their own sheep, allowing them to select the finest wool for their products.
The Rest
The ranch offers a range of wool products, carefully selected from their own sheep. Visitors can enjoy the vast open spaces and the beauty of the prairie from the wrap-around porch. The mission of the ranch is to raise livestock in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner and to educate others about their practices.
