About the Farm
Background
Established in 1868, the farm has been operated by the 4th, 5th, and 6th generations, evolving from a dairy and poultry farm to a renowned destination for Christmas trees and pumpkins. The Harvest Barn, originally a dairy barn, now serves as a retail space and wreath factory, preserving elements of its past with feed pipes and chicken crates.
Practices
The farm focuses on growing over 3000 Christmas trees and more than 50 varieties of pumpkins, winter squash, and gourds each year. The emphasis is on maintaining a family-friendly environment with pick-your-own pumpkin patches and dog-friendly areas, adhering to USDA regulations.
The Rest
Visitors are encouraged to check the farm's Facebook page for special events and updates. Dogs are welcome in designated areas, and the farm hosts a Harvest Season opening weekend in late September. Christmas tree reservations are required due to limited inventory. The farm also offers scenic site rentals and a weather station for visitors to check conditions.
