About the Farm

Background

A few years back, the founders faced severe health issues that led them to explore organic and holistic food options. Their journey began with the discovery that raw goat milk alleviated many of their health problems. Inspired by the work of Joel Salatin, they purchased 20 acres of raw land to start their off-grid farm. Their mission is to provide the highest quality food and educate others on holistic farming practices.

Practices

The farm employs intensive rotational grazing, moving animals daily to improve soil biology and reduce parasite loads. They never use antibiotics, growth hormones, dewormers, or vaccinations. Animals receive free-choice kelp, sea salt, and a variety of minerals. Pigs and fowl are supplemented with non-GMO grain, while milking goats receive a specific mix of non-GMO barley, corn, and sunflower seeds. All slaughtering is done on the farm to minimize stress and ensure humane treatment.

The Rest

The farm offers a membership program for purchasing products, which includes raw goat milk and cheese, pastured chicken and duck eggs, grass-fed meats, and seasonally available livestock. They also sell items through their Etsy shop. The farm operates off-grid with solar power, rainwater catchment, and composting toilets, and they grow much of their own food in their garden.
