Bee Friends Farm

Founded in 2013, the business has grown to manage around 600 healthy colonies of bees during peak season. Known for their hyper-local Jacksonville Wildflower honey, they also produce Black Mangrove, Tupelo, Saw Palmetto, and Orange Blossom honey. They offer educational experiences and partner with local farms to provide hands-on beekeeping activities.

As migratory beekeepers, they move their bees to follow seasonal blooms, ensuring the bees forage on specific plants to produce distinct honey varietals. They conduct pollen testing to verify the purity of their honey and use eco-friendly glass jars. Their creamed honey is made by crystallizing their raw honey and adding organic spices and extracts without any added sugar or dairy.

They offer a variety of products including beeswax candles, which are praised for their long-lasting flame and health benefits. They provide educational resources and recipes for cooking with honey, emphasizing its versatility as a natural sweetener. Their retail store offers beekeeping supplies and other specialty items.
