Dowse Orchards boasts a rich 230-year history as a family farm, recognized as a Massachusetts Century Farm. For over 60 years, they have operated a roadside farm stand, selling a diverse array of products grown on their land. Known for their extensive apple orchards, the farm has become a staple in Boston's Metro West area, providing fresh produce and festive holiday experiences to the local community.

The farm integrates traditional farming methods with modern diversification, cultivating a wide range of crops including spring greenhouse crops, summer vegetables, and over 26 varieties of apples. They emphasize seasonal production, offering pick-your-own apples in the fall and choose-and-cut Christmas trees in December. Their commitment to quality is evident in their weekly fresh-pressed sweet cider and the variety of perennials and flowers grown in their greenhouses.
