About the Farm
Background
Founded in 2005, this small family farm emerged from a desire to create a viable business that harmonizes human effort with nature's blessings. Recognizing the underserved niche of specialty mushrooms, they focused on producing high-quality, local Shiitake mushrooms that cannot be shipped over long distances without losing quality.
Practices
The farm grows Shiitake mushrooms as naturally as possible, cultivating them outdoors on hardwood logs and harvesting them daily. This method ensures a nutritious product that stands out in quality and flavor, unavailable in typical stores. Their commitment to organic practices is evident in their meticulous growing, dehydrating, and packaging processes, all conducted onsite.
The Rest
The farm offers a variety of mushroom products, including dried mushrooms, mushroom powders, and teas. They invite visitors to experience their farm and market offerings, emphasizing the importance of knowing the source of one's food. Their products are crafted with care to provide unmistakable flavors, textures, and nutritional benefits.
