About the Farm
Background
Established in 2020, the farm began from a love for their equine family and grew into a thriving business during quarantine. Owners Ashley and Randy Robbins turned their long-term hobbies of preserving into a mission to increase access to locally-grown food in Pitt County.
Practices
The farm emphasizes the use of compost and organic manure to enrich the soil. All preserves are made by hand in small batches, ensuring the freshest ingredients and avoiding artificial additives. Their commitment to local farmers means that stock rotates regularly based on seasonal availability.
The Rest
The farm offers unique equine services across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, including cleaning for mares, geldings, stallions, and donkeys. They provide a variety of homemade jams, jellies, preserves, sauces, and syrups, all available in different sizes. The farm is veteran-owned and community-driven, aiming to give back to Pitt County by providing sustainable and locally-grown natural preserves.
