    About the Farm

    Background

Ken Kuhns Jr and his wife Gail have been at the helm of Peach Valley CSA Farm, located 17 miles west of Glenwood Springs in the Colorado River Valley. They played a pivotal role in establishing the Saturday Farmers Market in Glenwood Springs in 1985. For the past two decades, they have operated a Community Supported Agriculture program, supplying over 100 families with fresh produce and eggs for 40 weeks each year.

    Practices

Their soil building program is a testament to their commitment to organic and biodynamic farming. They employ green manures, tillage, cold composting, crop rotations, animal manures, and fallowing to enrich the soil and maintain its fertility.

    The Rest

The farm's dedication to providing fresh, locally-grown produce and eggs has fostered a strong community connection through their CSA program.
