About the Farm
Background
Known for raising Tamworth pigs, a heritage breed often referred to as the 'bacon maker' due to its long body and lean meat.
Practices
The farm employs organic and sustainable farming methods, allowing animals to pasture and forage naturally. Tamworth pigs are not subjected to tail docking or nose ringing, enabling them to root for food. Chickens are free-range, foraging for seeds, bugs, and grasses, which enhances the color of their egg yolks and allows them to dust bathe for health and cooling.
The Rest
Pork is available for purchase by the half, whole, or by the cut, and whole chickens are also sold.
