About the Farm
Background
The Timberfeast adventure began in 2015 out of a desire to produce and eat really good food. Over the years, they have expanded to offer over 100 products and provide weekly home delivery to Chicagoland. The farmland has been in Mark’s family for six generations, and they take pride in the beautiful pastures that their animals thrive on.
Practices
Their food and farming philosophy is rooted in the belief that delicious and nutritious food comes from animals that live well. Fresh air, sunshine, and clean grass are the backbone of their farming practices. They are committed to humane techniques, organic standards, and sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
The Rest
The farm offers a wide range of products including pasture-raised turkey, chicken, pork, duck, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, and pastured eggs. The team includes Mark Brady, Katie Kennedy, Justin Cousin, Dan Scherer-Emunds, Adam Siska, and Mepuka Kessey, each contributing uniquely to the farm's operations. The farm dogs, Tilly and Chip, also play a role in daily farm activities. Timberfeast is known for its high standards and dependable home delivery service.
