About the Farm
Background
Cove Farms was unofficially founded more than twenty years ago when Owner Frank Valcarcel identified a need for organized palm distribution in a small island community. Starting with a modest 1-acre plot near the Gulf of Mexico, the farm has grown to become the most popular palm distributor on Pine Island. With over 30 years of experience in aquaculture, Cove Farms also excels in providing high-quality Tilapia.
Practices
Cove Farms adheres to environmentally safe farming processes, supporting the latest FDA requirements for Tilapia farming. Their Tilapia are raised without growth hormones and are organically grown. In addition to their aquaculture practices, they are committed to reducing the carbon footprint by planting more trees and supplying 'home grown' plants to curb outsourcing trends.

Cove Farms offers a variety of palm trees including the Royal Palm, Christmas Palm, Foxtail Palm, and more. They cater to nurseries, landscapers, and homeowners, providing support and advice on palm tree care. The farm encourages customers to make appointments before visiting and offers special rates for bulk orders. They also sell palm tree seeds, such as Foxtail Palm Tree Seeds and Areca Palm tree fruit.
