About the Farm

Background

Dogwood Farms is owned and operated by Jon Knox and Kim Koziol. Jon, a native of New Jersey, recognized the potential of the Garden State for a farm dedicated to providing fresh produce and meats to local families and restaurants. The farm is currently in its third season and follows organic certification guidelines as part of its lease with Duke Farms and NOFA-NJ.

Practices

Dogwood Farms grows over 50 varieties of fruits and vegetables using NON GMO seeds and avoids chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. The farm also produces heritage pork, grass-fed lamb, and free-range chicken, with all animals kept on pasture and never given hormones or antibiotics.

The Rest

Dogwood Farms offers 150 CSA Vegetable Shares and 100 Meat CSA Shares, providing a consistent supply of fresh vegetables and meats. The farm also operates a weekly Farmstand at Duke Farms from May to November, where seasonal produce and meats are available. Customers can sign up for a weekly email update about the farmstand offerings. For inquiries about volunteering, employment, or restaurant deliveries, customers are encouraged to call or email.
