About the Farm
Background
In 2006, David and Allison Key, both from West Georgia, began their farming journey with eight beef cattle. By 2020, they were managing over 200 head of cattle on the farm where David was raised. In February 2022, they opened Key Farms Meats & Mercantile in Carrollton, GA, expanding their offerings to include a variety of local products and farm goods.
Practices
The cattle are raised on green pastures, never given hormones, and treated humanely. The farm emphasizes the health benefits of locally grown and raised foods, aiming to provide fresh, minimally processed products. Their beef is grass-fed and non-GMO grain-finished.
