About the Farm
Background
The Organic Family Farm, known as TOFF, has established itself as a community-centric farm where members invest in the farm's production at the start of their membership. In return, they receive a share of the harvest each week. The farm also supplies small restaurants with CSA memberships, ensuring a steady supply of fresh, organic produce.
Practices
TOFF employs aquaponics, leveraging the natural symbiotic relationship between fish, microbes, and plants in oxygen-rich water. This method allows for year-round growing in greenhouses, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh produce. All products are 100% organically grown, emphasizing local and sustainable farming practices.
The Rest
Members can visit the farm once a week to collect their share of the harvest, enjoying a direct connection to their food source. The farm's dedication to organic practices ensures that all produce is free from synthetic chemicals, providing healthy options for families and small restaurants alike.
