About the Farm
Background
Located in the picturesque Catskills mountains, this group of dedicated mushroom farmers has been cultivating a variety of specialty mushrooms. Their journey began with a passion for fungi and a desire to bring unique, high-quality mushrooms to their community.
Practices
The farmers focus on growing mushrooms on wood, a method that mimics natural forest conditions and enhances the flavor and quality of the mushrooms. This practice not only produces superior mushrooms but also aligns with ecological principles by utilizing sustainable resources.
The Rest
They are looking to partner with an established CSA in Sullivan County to expand their reach and offer additional products to CSA members. With 150 CSA shares available, they are eager to connect with interested parties to plan distribution points.
